For one week in September, New York city is raving with fashion bloggers, photographers, models, designers, and celebrities. Everyone is getting into the action under the tents of Mercedes-Benz NYFW. The designers work endless hours to create moments on the runway for the public to enjoy. There were so many designers who had amazing collections, but I’ve selected four designers who I would love to wear.
1. Open Ceremony
This collection has a clear and straightforward vision. I really appreciate the tailored pants and shorts and the jackets are amazing. I’m not sure what was the inspiration, but I think Open Ceremony perfected the modern-day business woman. Each piece from the collection I can see myself wearing.

2. Versus Versace
The Versus collection revived itself on the runway of New York Fashion week. Donatella collaborated with Anthony Vaccarello to create Versace’s rock chick vibe and attitude. The models strutted down the runway with statement pieces and daring ensembles. This collection had a mixture of Versace signature pieces like leather, gold, geometric shapes, plunging necklines and the Grecian motifs. Donatella is legendary, and she doesn’t skip a beat. She truly knows what looks great on women.

3. Alexander Wang
Wang is such a cool designer. Each year he recreates the sporty look and it is refreshing to see. I really appreciate the slim high-waisted pants, vibrant body-con dresses, and the fitted tees. Wang is awesome because he figured out a way for ladies to be casual and sporty while making a statement in fashion.

4. Alice + Olivia
Seriously, I would wear everything in this collection. Stacy Bendet, who is the designer for Alice + Olivia, just inspired me to change up my wardrobe. She was inspired by the 70’s and 50’s and she made it fresh and new for young women. There is no denying each piece in her collection was incredible.
